Beautiful sunset guys. Lovely. We’ve had exceptionally warm days for the middle of winter but it’s about to come to an end with a spot of rain in the forecast. Good luck with the “Wild Weekly Photo Challenge”. 😉

Thank you friends!
Glad you had a couple of warm days to get “out there” and get some more of your beautiful photos!
Here heavy rain has been forecast for the north of the country, with flooding a definite possibility: some parts of Kruger and Mapungubwe National Parks have already been cut off from the outside world by swollen rivers. We’re holding thumbs that we won’t see a repeat of the floods that struck exactly a year ago.

Funny, we were just talking about how awesome it would be to go camping up in Cape Vidal sometime…
I’m off to check your other posts on this area to whet the old camping appetite 🙂

Hi Lu! You can’t go wrong, the iSimangaliso authority has recently upgraded Cape Vidals camping and have made available a bunch of exciting infrastructure improvements and additions between St. Lucia and Cape Vidal – don’t miss the new hide at Mfazana. We were there in August 2012: https://dewetswild.com/2012/08/26/cape-vidal-and-the-eastern-shores-of-lake-saint-lucia/
